I have a magnaflow exhaust for sale with ~4000 miles of mild usage. I'm parting ways with the car, otherwise I would keep it– to me, it's the best sounding exhaust for the f80 that I've heard. It is in immaculate condition for an exhaust– just a bit of dust on it at the moment– otherwise the tips are not scratched or anything.

Never got a chance to hear it. I just had heard youtube clips of this one and pulled the trigger. If I remember correctly, the touring is louder.. and I live in an apartment complex where cold starts on this car were an issue, so i need to have something more moderate ha.

Nah.. I put in a call to confirm.. Sport is louder than the touring..

So I guess the 3 questions you could answer for me (if you don't mind) would you want your exhaust to be any quieter than it is??

any exotic tone to it or just deep?

And did you have any Drone issues?

To me, putting it crudely, it just sounded like the car's balls dropped. Pretty similar characteristics to stock, just deeper and more aggressive. As i'm waiting to have my lease take over, i don't even drive it– stock just doesn't do it for me.

And did you have any Drone issues? Minor drone at low RPM, but not bad.

When you get on it it can get loud, but still not overbearing at it's loudest. Best part was putting it in sport plus throttle, and then lifting when you have a good amount of load– makes a nice little burble that I don't remember hearing with stock.

Having the valve control gave me the option to tone it back a little as needed, but i pretty much always had the valves open.

In theory it should sound just like an Mpe with valves open as it mounts post secondary cats and straight pipe runs all the way. Valves closed it will sound different as muffler designs most likely not the same. It's a nice value option for our cars.. Good luck its ur sale.

This exhaust never seemed to have gotten *too much of* the M tax. Great value buy for sure.

I'm in the bay area. Im from LA, but before moving back that way I'd like to have sold this one.
