Ugh this thread is about to cost me money. I didn't think the black tips would be an upgrade from my stock ZCP but damn I was wrong.

CaryTheLabelGuy black.

Here are some quick photos of the burnt blue tips (diffuser = Status Gruppe);

After unwrapping the plastic cellophane on one of the tips, I noticed it had a few pits/chips in the "blue" rolled edge at the top of the tip (exposing the polished tip underneath). I've PM'd Mike about getting a replacement, so longevity/durability remain to be seen.

However, I really love the look! I had a set of Gintani tips previously (90mm), and these are definitely more substantial in appearance. Considering the options, for the price, these really can't be beat (no matter what finish you choose).

Ok, finally took the tips off and put these guys in... Sheesh, they were a biatch!!

Anyways, very happy with results. As others mentioned, there is about a 2mm offset on the right side where it is not as staggered as the left, but I think this is an OEM muffler pin position, because I measured all 4 tips from BMS and they are identical

When I compare those to the ones from BMS, the quality of the BMS seems much better. Only time will tell how they hold up to heat, car washes, elements, etc. But for $199 they look great, and I would call it more of a black chrome than gloss black. Now if they fix the alignment issue on right side, than these would be a steal. And now that I looked closer at pictures posted by the vendor, I do see the same issue, just wish it was voiced. But its not the end of the world.

Just what I was worried about! Due to the fact that these are painted and not anodized, it makes you question the life span and longevity of these tips. Now given that the paint is peeling off from something as simple as unwrapping the cellophane wrap puts these tips in question in my opinion.

Tips look 100 times better than those crap VRSF tips everyone was buying and for the price of the Gintani tips you can buy three sets of these.
