The advisory email for the UK release announced also that:

Launches 21 June 2014 at £56,175 OTR for the M3 Saloon and £56,635 OTR for the M4 Coupé.

Good find and read. BMW gives an official 0-60 time of 3.9 with DCT. Both cars should have great midrange acceleration.
