guys,
great thread with some informative posts! Real quick: How do you guys think the M4 with a nice tune (a la JB4 numbers, etc) would do vs a VT-595 kit for the following: * 0-60 * 1/4 mile * overall long tracks (with some long straight aways, a la PBIR)

You know I want to bring this thread back to life. Was a great convo!
I have a 4.6 stroker m3, given It's more or less been gutted for the track, but I still prefer the m4 on the track. the e92 just don't have that feedback as the f82.... now maybe strapping a blower will crank up the power to what...550 at the wheels (not a conservative number really), but still not an impressive amount of TQ. I am sure the F8x would have a decent chance keeping up....maybe even in a straight line if you are giving me 1/4 mile #'s like 10.7 @ 129 mph (there was an F80 somewhere online hitting 132 mph @ 10.x secs, was very impressive) |
