I just received my 2018 M3 allocation & production number

Until BMWNA releases the Ordering/Pricing Guide nothing in their tracking system will show any movement. But your car is already in the production queue as your production number shows.

Thank you both for the input. It makes me feel a little better at this stage. Still sucks because I cannot begin booking/planning dates for the trip until they've accepted one of my three preferred delivery dates.

Crossing my fingers that enough will be released to allow some things to be finalized this week.

I called BMW genius today and they couldn't locate my production number, either. They said it was probably because it was just issued.

Hoping to have something by later this week, especially after June 1st when hopefully "official" pricing/ordering is released.

I'm curious about this as well.

I have asked multiple places now to look for a price and all been given the same answer *including GOLFFRR. They cannot give me any ideas until the 2018 prices are released.

Basically telling me to sit and wait like a good boy.

In my case, $1000 over ED invoice (whatever it may ended up being), no dealer fees.

Historically, the F8x has been cheaper each model year (standard equipment-wise). I actually expect the last F8x to be the cheapest year-to-year.

Count me in...got mine placed. Mine is a military discount through dealer here in Germany. They just based it off the 2018 M4 pricing, minus $2K based on historic pricing data.

That wouldn't make any sense as production starts in July, historically guides come out the first week of the month preceding production

I did this as well... I started with 2017 prices, said i'd pay X% under ED MSRP... so whenever the official prices come out, I should just be able to update that column of my spreadsheet and we should be in agreement on the final price.

I'm more pissed about the MSD's going away as thats going to ef with my lease payment calculations.
