...and the torture continues...
Dealer said they "got a lot of cars that have to be prepped for month end", so I can't pick it up until Monday evening, even though the car got delivered to them yesterday morning oh well... was looking forward to some long weekend drives, but now may just have to call in sick on Tuesday |

Just put a deposit on an M4 () that's been sitting at the port since Feb. 10 ... dealer thinks they'll get it within next 3 weeks but I'm not in much of a hurry. The weather is still very bipolar here in Montreal.

The Easter Bunny was very kind .
With a small bribe of a bottle of whiskey, the prep was rushed and delivery was Thursday evening As promised, first photo (and turns out first one in the car) was my son All I have to say about the car is.... wow.... o.k.... back to driving |

Once it's on the train, you can look up CN's travel times to guesstimate how long it would take to get to Toronto (it's between 6 and 10 days for Montreal). |

Mine spent 3 days in Halifax, then 5 days to get to the Concord Autoport, then 2 days before Hansen's delivered it to the dealer... so 10 calendar days. Dealer took 2 days to prep. The wait is hard, isn't it?

Mine has been there for a few weeks too. They bypassed Halifax completely and unloaded there instead. No idea if it has made it any further though. I keep hearing "it will be here this week", but that line is getting old now.

I know mine was there as of Monday. I'm going to check back with the dealer on Friday to see if there's any progress. Did your dealership give you any information about why it's being delayed?

Anyway, fuuuuuuuuuuuuck. That is a lot of snow and ice and crap and that just all sucks big time. Hope those of you waiting get your cars thawed out and delivered as soon as possible.

this is getting ridiculous.
is their nothing we can do? the cars are stranded in Halifax. would putting in a call to BMW NA do anything? or would it just make the dealer get a sour taste for this transaction? as you can probably tell im getting too ANXIOUS! to say the least. |

When did yours come in? I had thought that all the latest shipments were bypassing the holding area and being loaded directly onto the trains (I know mine was).
There's a forum member that can check if your car has been loaded/assigned to a train... just search this sub-forum (can't recall his username right now). Send him a PM with your VIN and he can try to get you some information. Anyways... worth a shot maybe, just to find out one way or the other... |

My dealer said it should be in by the end of the month at the latest. On the bright side, if there are any incentives coming in May, you can benefit from those as well. |

Unfortunately there's absolutely nothing your dealer nor BMWNA can do about it, the delay is on the Halifax port and CN Rail. You're going to have to wait it out (or fly out to Halifax with a shovel).
