I didn't own a Scud, but drove one at a track. The best way to describe a Scud is that of an angry animal with its balls slung by heavy rope.

They have depreciated quite a bit and you can get a low mile car that should hold value.
Honestly I think that's an even more worn out exotic than an F430... that shitty vw interior with vw electronics paired with a semi decent AWD, I would def lean towards an F430 of the two... but in reality, for the price, I'd pick up a 911 turbo S and call it a day... different car, but much better value when 2-3 years old and far faster than both.

I may be able to afford a used 430, but I most certainly can not keep up with it's maintenance. My god what they charge for things is unbelievable.

If somehow you could remove that from the equation the Ferrari is on another level over any BMW ever built.

Not sure what Gallardos you're looking at if you think they have a shitty interior. Maybe the first couple years. I still think they are nicer then the older Ferrari interiors. They sure look better.

Honestly a 09+ Gallardo would be the way to go. Face lift + better engine, exhaust, clutch and transmission. Cant go wrong. It even has a suspension lift so you can get in a steep driveway or over a speed bump.

Oh and the Gallardo wont cost you a F**king M4 in maintenance every two years lol

amen! I'd love a black 430 or 458 (my dream care), but don't think I'll ever own one.

This is true, and I agree with your statements. There is some trade off in "exotic" value, but you gain an updated interior, a better tranny, and lower maintenance headaches. I went from F430 to a Gallardo (LP550): Bought a sense of security (relatively speaking, of course) but no comparison to the F430 rawness and exotic factor. I am not talking about aesthetics, which is purely subjective on the eyes of the beholder, but I miss the F430's animalistic behavior.
