That aluminum front axle carrier looks amazing. Looks like a race car under there. Wish they had the numbers on how much stiffer it is than the regular 3/4 series.

Very good looking parts under there. I do like the explanation o each and the shift towards a more "race car" like product. Am I the only one who thinks that the aftermarket for exhaust should be able to produce something much better flowing, maybe even larger diameter, and a better looking rear (similar to getting rid of the "balls" look of the E9x M3)? I think we have serious potential from the turbo back.

I don't what makes me smile more, the fact that I agree or that I would rather have the diff in my hands than the last hooters girl....

Man those components are beautiful. Interesting remarks, yet again, in how similar the coupe and sedan are from a performance standpoint. I wonder how this will affect sales of the two variants. How bizarre would it be to have the sedan outsell the coupe by a wide margin?

I also find it interesting that automotive journalists seem to favor the sedan. At the end when they discussed torsional rigidity, the interviewer remarked that "he could tell" [that the sedan was more rigid], yet the M spokesperson claimed that the difference is very small. I wonder what it is about the sedan that is enchanting so many journalists?

Very interesting,
Actually I felt that too, the E90 sedan M3 seems to have a little more rigid feeling than the E92 2 door M3.

Grabbed this rear street shot of the F82 M4 Coupe. The discussion in the clip about the cooling fins on the Limited Slip Dif made me look at this photo a little closer. From this angle you can actually see the cooling fins hanging down in the air stream. Should keep that LSD cool..... Thanks. PalBay

That finned diff probably isn't a good jacking point for the rear end. I hope there is another point that can be used.

Yes, I know the diff is not designed on any car for this, but I've used it for years on many cars without issues.
