While there is newer versions available since 2016, you probably have a new enough version that you won't benefit too much from the update.
how can I check the software version?
And if I have a "new enough" version, basically this kit is going to be just expensive OEM lowering springs?
Check out the coding sub forum about checking what software version you currently have.

It is an expensive OEM lowering spring, that you can have set to your desire. On a non-ZCP, it makes a remarkable difference. Hands down the best mod I have done to this car.

Plan on putting on spacers? It makes a huge difference.

I have ZCP with spacers and traditional lowering spring (non HAS). Also have codings for CS.
Maybe I don't need to update my current setup. Thanks for sharing your insight!

Isuugo, can you describe the differences between normal to the CS coding? Did you encounter any issues?

Thanks,

I would argue it's hard to find a traditional lowering spring that matches the performance of the M Perf HAS. You just have to pay for it

How does the ride quality compared to stock feel after 2 weeks?

M3_Beast how many labor hours did West charge for you for this? Did you get the M Gruppe discount as well?

They quoted me 8 hours, discounted rate $125/hr, therefore total price for the install came out to $1K. I didn't pay for the installation, alignment as I worked out a deal initially prior to finalizing my two car purchases. The deal was if I paid for the MP HAS that they would install the springs, provide the alignment, and any other thing associated.

They did settle just a little bit, but I had them raise it to BMW recommended heights during my alignment a week later. Personally, I think the BMW recommended heights is the best of both worlds. It eliminates the 4X4 look and its good enough to ride on the streets of Houston.

Thanks! They also quoted me the $125 discounted rate but at 9.2 hours instead of 8. This is for the Dinan kit.

Assume you're in the M Gruppe?

correct. One thing to note is service advisers work of commission. 8 hours is plenty of time considering BMW installation manual say's typically 4 hours.

Something seems off, mine is much lower than your ride height. Double check the settings.

Mine settled minimally (1/8" or so), your rear seems to be on the high side. My rear tire tucks slightly for reference. I can provide measurements if need be.

Yea man your right it does, that's what I'm thinking how much could it settle? The tech told me that the rear has helper springs that can be taken out but then he said the back will be lower than the front.. what are helper springs? Lol

They hosed your install. They either put the rear upside down or screwed something else up. Tons of info in the main thread with ways to idiot proof the dealership install. Need to bring your car back and have them correct it.

I wonder about ordering the M Performance HAS kit for my 2017 M3 ZCP.

At first I thought about the Swift Spec R lowering springs (perfectly lowered with 25mm front and 10mm rear), but then I read that they could feel very stiff on daily street use compared to stock, as most of the other lowering springs also feels like.

My other option was Eibach springs (claims 20mm F/10mm R), but then the front will still look higher than the rear, which really can't be!

I also have the M Performance front splitter, so no plans on lowering the car to the max. Just need to remove the front gap and still keep the comfort for daily use.

I really wan't to hear your overall experience with the M Performance HAS, so feel free to share all of your thoughts guys.

Thanks!
