It is an expensive OEM lowering spring, that you can have set to your desire. On a non-ZCP, it makes a remarkable difference. Hands down the best mod I have done to this car. |

M3_Beast how many labor hours did West charge for you for this? Did you get the M Gruppe discount as well?

They quoted me 8 hours, discounted rate $125/hr, therefore total price for the install came out to $1K. I didn't pay for the installation, alignment as I worked out a deal initially prior to finalizing my two car purchases. The deal was if I paid for the MP HAS that they would install the springs, provide the alignment, and any other thing associated.

They did settle just a little bit, but I had them raise it to BMW recommended heights during my alignment a week later. Personally, I think the BMW recommended heights is the best of both worlds. It eliminates the 4X4 look and its good enough to ride on the streets of Houston.

correct. One thing to note is service advisers work of commission. 8 hours is plenty of time considering BMW installation manual say's typically 4 hours.

Just got my MP HAS kit installed at the dealer love the ride quality but surprised this is maxed out.. I thought it could go lower but it's a decent drop.. My tech said it still needs to settle.. The first pic is stock Zcp suspension the last two are with the mp has kit..

Mine settled minimally (1/8" or so), your rear seems to be on the high side. My rear tire tucks slightly for reference. I can provide measurements if need be.

I wonder about ordering the M Performance HAS kit for my 2017 M3 ZCP.
At first I thought about the Swift Spec R lowering springs (perfectly lowered with 25mm front and 10mm rear), but then I read that they could feel very stiff on daily street use compared to stock, as most of the other lowering springs also feels like. My other option was Eibach springs (claims 20mm F/10mm R), but then the front will still look higher than the rear, which really can't be! I also have the M Performance front splitter, so no plans on lowering the car to the max. Just need to remove the front gap and still keep the comfort for daily use. I really wan't to hear your overall experience with the M Performance HAS, so feel free to share all of your thoughts guys. Thanks! |
