So you’ve had the vehicle for about 6 months and 5k miles. Thrown 25k in mods and decided to sell so quickly? Any reason? Issues ?

Reasonable question. Just trying to minimize debt and found myself not driving it as much as I thought I would. It's my 2nd car and a very fun weekend toy for sure. I set out to accomplish a lingering goal of making a stable 600rwhp M car after heavily modifying my 135i, and this satisfied the itch haha.

And no issues - it's a solid car that will make anyone more than happy. I'm fine with keeping it, but figured I'd test the waters.

Sorry, but used 2015 M3s are selling for $47-$49k. Non competition 2016s for $50-$53k.

No one but a lunatic will pay $62k for a non-competition 2015 car in a standard color when you can get a 2016 competition for $58-$60. A couple months ago you could find brand new 2018s for $69k.

And, as thread after thread has pointed out, expensive mods don't drive a higher price. In fact, many buyers become skeptical of a warrantee voided car.

You're entitled to your opinion, much like anyone else. However, there are plenty of people, including myself, that find some value in a properly modified car.

This car is NOT a competition package, so the comparison is inept - apples to oranges. For someone that wants this kind of power done right in a platform that readily blows engines attempting it, perhaps it's worth it to them. There are also many threads of people wanting to extract much more power, only to find that it's not simply slapping some mods on.

Again, I posted it as a feeler.

No worries. I incorporated the shipping cost to Gintani. Top notch shop. I didn’t want anyone else but them doing the install since it requires significant skill - certainly not something you want someone doing for the first time elsewhere. The beauty of it is that you no longer have to worry about the ticking time bomb the crank hub is on any pushed M4. Pretty sure an engine replacement is a solid 20k + investment if things go wrong. I wasn’t willing to take that chance.

This car could reliably be pushed for more power, but I went for a conservative tune. I think there are a number of 700rwhp e85 M4s on Pure stage 2 turbos at this point.

Nope - The tune can be switched to a 93 octane map in a couple minutes on bootmod3. I have e85 available near me, so it wasn’t a big inconvenience.

And since you posted it as a feeler, I assumed you wanted feedback.

I had a 2016 M3 on this same forum that took 5 months to sell.

So, I assumed that you might appreciate a little feedback, because that's what this forum is all about.

Awesome car! Don't listen to all the negativity here, it's depressing. Honestly, like you said, someone looking for a properly modded car will take this one, it's just a matter of time. The way I see it is: the crank hub failing is what most are afraid of happening on these cars, so you've taken care of that! The pure turbos are what many people lust over when they are looking for that extra over stock... You got them! The wheels are perfect. The suspension couldn't have been better. You really did your homework on this one. I would call this the perfect build and would not do it any other way. When the modifications are proper, it will attract the right people, I've learned that much. I've sold a twin turbo 350z before to someone who was looking for that exact setup. It was just about timing. Good luck man!
