Reading the Euro MDM thread, it sounds like there are several ways to do it with varied results.

Basically I want much looser traction control intervention, but America MDM for stability control functions, ala "competition mode" as GM calls it, except they turn traction control completely off , but leave full stability control.
There is only one true correct way of doing it. I have no clue what everyone else is posting.
Can you tell me what that is and how it changes each section, both traction control and the stability control ?

I'll be giving you a buzz as soon as I get my coils put on to code out EDC and Euro MDM.

I hope Euro MDM is a happy medium, still keep you safe on the mountain / back roads, but allow a little more fun.
I am sorry I do not discuss methods of coding.
No worries, I understand.

Maybe in person you can explain to me a little. Just about how much leeway euro code gives you.
Mi just want to stay safe , but not kill the fun.
Haha, your vehicle will perform just as its European counter part does.

Couple questions

1. How can zcp edc be coded if you don't have the CP revised part numbers?
2. Is euro dct the same thing as gts dct software? (Similar to how the e9x platform was)
3. Any dynos to prove that euro engine software makes more power than US?

There is no dyno #s, euro has been known as far as back as the 90s to pull more power then standard US versions, US is much more regulated then ECE. EDC box is same on both ZCP & non ZCP cars. No euro DCT is not the same as GTS DCT. There will not be DCT GTS flashes for this platform.

I would not want to get the car coded and then get it erased from dealer on the next update.

Software iLevels are updated almost every 2 weeks. You can simply advise your dealership not to update your vehicle at service visits. Most updates to turbo BMW motors have shown loss of power; so general rule of thumb is to stay away from updates anyways.

So today I introduce my bro-in-law FUN2GOJOE to Alex and within a couple hours, I get a call and he is bragging how great the experience was with Alex. I told him, ah, of course, that's why I referred him! Thanks again Alex!

Wanted to follow up on the ZCP EDC coding? Can you provide more specifics on the coding, impact and changes to the adaptive settings? Is it just stiffer settings or something more?

Also wonder if they'll be different than the EDC changes from the 58.3 DME updates.

Thanks!

Can you code the new software update people are talking about that helps with traction control?

Had my M4 flashed and coded by Alex the other day, all under 30 mins. Went over all the options and answered all my questions. Definitely recommend. Thanks again

I have the euro dct flash that Alex did, I am tuned that is the only reason why I didn't do the engine. The car shifts faster and harder, well worth it!
