Since carbahn mentioned the B58 tune in this thread I have followed it. I will be more than happy to discuss the tune further once they post something over in the B58 section.

I upgraded my F80 to the latest flash in April and did my first track day with it this past Saturday. I am generally very happy with it, but I was having trouble with the charge tubes coming loose from the clamps (the ones on top) under hard continuous acceleration, assuming a long high boost condition. I tightened the clamps between runs, really tight. On the last run the other side blew off - the intercooler output came loose from the elbow that connects to the intake manifold. I reconnected and tightened it really good after the track time was over. Now I'm worried that this flash drives the boost to a level that the plumbing can't take it. I have not broken or split the plastic charge tubes yet from what I can see.
Has anyone else had problems with this on the latest tune? @Carbahn, do you have a curve graph that shows the levels of boost that this tune produces vs stock? For example, by RPM, load or both ? Thanks! |

Just had this installed at Carbahn in Mountain View. Power compared to stock is incredible. Only issue right now is that I don't hear any burbles at all but hope to get this resolved soon.

Only pita was the need to remove the DME and have it overnighted to Carbahn in Cali, due the DME being locked....but all was done in a few days. The tune is manic, especially going from M2C stock power. A bit less of a jump from F80/F82 base and comp S55's. Highly, highly recommended! |

Also, how is daily drivability in terms of smoothness at partial throttle applications? |

Drivability is great, unchanged from stock, just with more power everywhere. Loving it so far! |

Just got tuned with stage 1 from a competition M3. Nice jump in power and very streetable, even with winter tires. Overall very happy and happy to answer any questions.

QQ for the Carbahn guys: sport plus now does rev matching after the tune. Is this expected? Can I turn that behavior off?

I am always in sport plus, and rev-matching is always on. It will only disable if traction control is fully off, and I always have MDM enabled.
