Well, in their defense, it didn't really have a point.

Hey, Canada sells milk in bags. What the fuck is up with that?
I guess my point is that when the new gluten free headlights come out, it'll be pretty obvious we've all made a giant mistake buying in now. |

I say go for it....I almost bought my first M3 when I was 18; 1987 E30 with 2k miles on it and was $27k. Barely qualified for the loan and I let people talk me out of it. Bought a VW Golf for $10k instead and hated that car nearly every day I had it because it was the "smart buy".
Fast forward nearly 30 years before I bought one and the reality is it is no smarter a buy today than it would have been 30 years ago, but I really wish I had bought that car and had it now.

I liked them both...but for DD the E39 was better for my needs...sold the E34 to get the F80 which I only kept for about a year... the E30 is still my favorite...maybe because it was my first

24 for my first M3. Always owned a M3/4 since. Added a 911 to the fleet this year at 34. Buy what you want and don't let your perceptions about what other people think bias the decision. The only thing that matters is whether or not you can afford it financially.

E46 M3 at 37. Timing worked best for me when home ownership, marriage/kids, stable career were already checked boxes.
But that first M really opened the door... E90 M3 - 39 E92 M3 - 41 F10 M5 - 43 F83 M4 - 47 |
