I cannt see how people think the M3 looks closer to a regular 3 series than the M4 does with the regular 4... To each his own i guess

Every time I see a 4 series M sport I freak out thinking I've caught a M4 prototype out in the wild..... Never made that mistake with a 3 series.

When I bought my 328i M Sport in 2012, I got asked constantly if it was an M3. It actually became bothersome to have to explain that "it's not an M, it's just an appearance package".

I like m3 better because it doesn't look like a 3 m sport nahhh the m4 is better because it doesn't look like a 4 m sport. The more pronounce rear fender is better on the m3 hilarious. Buy what you like and you can never go wrong.

Looking at these picture I think the M4 is one of the best looking sport cars to come out in the last few years. I can say with certainty that I will never mistake an M-sport for an M of either the 3 series or 4. The front & rear bumper/splitter/spoiler assemblies on both cars are completely different between M-Sport and M. I really don't see too many similarity at all in these areas. How could anybody that calls themselves a BMW enthusiast not be able to clearly see the difference? Maybe if you don't think that enough people will know you have an M car you can get a huge ///M logo wrapped across the car.

How often do you see 4 series M-Sports? Are you confusing the back view or the front? Why do I ask? Because I can't understand how you could be that easily mistaken. Especially from the back. The M-Sports has a large portion of the bumper painted dark gray with 2 black exhaust tips near the out side edges of the bumper. The M4 has a monochromatic bumper with 4 chrome exhaust tips located closer to the center. Those are just two really apparent telltales. The front view isn't so easy, but still I can't see a mistaking it. I would understand my mother mistaking the two but she isn't a car enthusiast.

First official photos of a white M3/M4! Looking good, I think this should have been the color at release. Also, is Bruno pretending to drive here? Tach and speedo appear to be at 0 LOL
