I would take my chances with carrying it as hand luggage. However, I see a new one on eBay for 289 GBP so pretty good value here anyway.

Do you know if carbon is exactly the same shape and size as the standard one or is it different? In many photos it looks bigger.
Yeah you need to check if the non oem Carbon alternatives is 1x1 or 2x2 weave.. I'm not sure what's what to be honest but think BMW is 2x2 diagonal weave... I'm sure there is quality cf and there's shit thin cf so you get what you pay for but obviously BMW has a premium to it for not necessarily the best... If it looks right and matches I guess you can't go too wrong:

I'm looking to get OEM, which is the one for 289 GBP so should be same weave as other parts. But is the physical size of spoiler any different to standard?
The 'standard' lip spoiler is quite small. Is that what you mean? Any oem f80 Carbon spoiler will be bigger and the same like mine, gtsussex and mr springer etc.. They do an m4 style spoiler for the f80 which I think looks really good too, probably better than the m3 one! Ask Ade for a steer as his has arrived and is being fitted imminently. Personally I wish I was better informed and knew I had the option of getting that m4 style spoiler.

There are many options out there but if you want to remain 'stock' like me get the m performance carbon parts. I'm sure the US f80 one is identical to our UK one

Keep us posted mate

Looks 'lavely', red and black go so well together. I know you don't like modding but you gonna complete that external kit with some side sils?

I used Betalink K1 because that's what it came with and I had lost patience waiting for the adhesive to arrive (I thought it would be 3M tape). I got there in the end but if you do use Betalink, all I can say is make sure you have the Betacleaner and spatula to hand. It was a constant case of cleaning the extra adhesive that kept oozing out. I was planning to take pictures throughout but once I started (was on my own) it was panic panic and speed was utterly important cleaning up the mess from Betalink.

And removed rear badge.

Chompers this is why I had too much time yesterday to debate cost of cars - I was waiting for Betalink to dry so couldn't go out.

New spoiler looks the business Seemingly BMW don't do MP side sills for the M3 only the M4. Wills2 pointed this out to me on another thread

You are right, just checked BMW online and they don't do it for the M3, what a disappointment that is!

My bad, I'm so sorry for getting your hopes up...

Imola Red and Gloss Black / Carbon is a lovely combo.

I don't love the black 19s at all but for some reason on this particular color/car it really works well. Always been a big fan of Imola.
