Loving that Yas Marina blue exterior. A little on the fence about the two tone leather on the door cards.

Cannot wait to get in one of these for a drive!

I'm going to keep my aggressively offset Avant Garde wheels as well, and ditch the OEM F80 wheels.

The rotors are different.

The calipers are identical.

And that was my point.

Never did I say, anywhere, that the rotors were going to be the same. My apologies if you interpreted it that way. But I thought I was being clear that I was referring to the calipers (4/2). I should've been clearer.

The pictures are accurate - there are definitely zero tiny females on the wheels.

Anyway, say what you want about the color, I simply love the idea of putting this color on a sedan. Very bold move by BMW, and I think show-goers will appreciate it.

I still think Sakhir orange would be the one I choose for an M4 - especially for an F83 where the YMB will probably leave the overall package too feminine for my liking. But this sedan wears it very well.

I think that the M3 brake discs have just been installed and have not been used at all. After running a few miles, the brake discs pattern will fade and they will look normal.

I agree with this as well. SO on the coupe looked good with the dark wheel option. YMB really has my vote as the bold color for the sedan. I envision mine to be YMB, full Pallidium leather (..if available; I loved it in my E9X M3 coupe and sedan), and a few other notable options. I'll keep the Avant Gardes off of my F30 (..aggressive offset), buy the M-Performance F8X lower lip and drop that son-of-a-gun. Perfection!

Blah

Rather disappointed to be honest with BMW and their M Lines.

they look prettier as BMW always do a fantastic job on designing
but anyone else feel like BMW is no longer going to be best bang for buck ratio in Performance / Pricing ?

When my X6M is paid off , I might hold off before another M model from BMW, other companies are looking a little more promising lately.

the new M4/M3 is 10.2 Compression @ 18Psi (9psi ea. Mitsubishi spoolers) w/ Aluminum internals (Piston etc) ?
Is that 100% Confirmed now ?

It's the M logos on the front seat backs that will illuminate. They were not illuminated during the photos.
Thank you for clarification Jason. There has been confusion in the forum regarding logo placement and clearly an error in interpretation of actual seat location when "Front Seat Backs" is mentioned. Look forward to catching a glimpse while lit up though!

Per the launch car order guide it is optional, part of the "executive package"/ZEC (what a stupid/pretentious name)

I'd assume also, considering nearly everything on the new M's are going to be optional other than the motor.

most likely dealers will have them included when they bring em in.

I'm still puzzled on an M car having an M Suspension as Optional
I guess it's good for modders who want to replace the suspension

Not even a little bit. The performance of this car will blow away the e92, so I think the performance jump is very substantial and that is a prime driver for me getting this car.

The fact that the interior is much nicer and more unique than before (better seats / materials) and has way more tech (cf roof on sedan, cf components, high tech engine, direct mount subframe) is lagniappe.

Edit : and m suspension is not optional. Edc is optional, which IMO has little performance gain. It is simply adding different modes for extra poor roads and changing conditions. Personally, I like one mode for all. I have edc on my m3 and normal is almost always best for me, even on track.

It's good that some things - such as EDC - are optional.

BTW, your 335i is one of the cleanest, classiest, and most aggressive I've seen. Very nice job with the front lip/splitter, brakes, wheels, lowering, etc.!

About the pricing coming later. Just like everyone said, how much later? We would really like to know this during the NAIAS as opposed to Feb, March, etc.
