Can this discount be applied to ANY car from BMW??? I'm still annoyed that I had to pay MSRP for my F87...especially since I had to wait over 400 days to get it delivered. 2% would have been something at least...

I certainly think it should!

I got my discount on my 2015 M3 that was part of the M Performance European Delivery launch.

The 2% didn't apply to the M2 in 2016/2017 but BMW Canada may have changed their status on that since then.

I just got my letter today. They are emailing them instead of sending by mail. It took three weeks and I had to ask my club president to remind BMW. I didn't know that the discount is valid for 6 months from the letter's issue date. My car was ordered so it's not a biggie for me but if you are even thinking about buying a lot car then you get the letter well before you start negotiating.

I guess that "enthusiasts" aren't buying or leasing from dealerships. Maybe they are all buying used or keeping their older cars in running form. That makes a little sad since it means that modern BMW isn't enticing many "old-school" BMW people into new cars. Sigh...
Used it twice recently on my M3 and X5. Any little bit helps lol

Perhaps another factor contributing to the limited uptake, beyond the delays already discussed, is that the exclusions are more pervasive than you might think.

I attempted to apply the discount to a new MY 2017 F80 this past February, but was informed by the dealer that this was not possible because the car was RDR’ed (aka punched) on January 1st. Loyalty still applied, FWIW. It all seemed a bit arbitrary at the time but I took it at face value.

Newbie question, what is bmcc and how to join it? Is that 2% on top of a negotiated price? Cos i usually negotiate very aggressively when i go buy the x5 with my family..

You want to check out your car club in your province. Seeing how you're in Ontario, you want to join the trillium Bmw club.

https://trilliumbmwclub.ca/membership

Under their specials heading, you can read more about the additional 2% (up to $2,000) off your new car. You have to be a member for at least 12 months.
