If you struggle give me a shout, have all the files on my laptop already and will be back in Pboro next Friday evening.

Would just be a case of me copying my Tal calculation form, putting in the 3 lines of data with your 9 digits and hey presto. Literally 2 minutes later all resolved.

As someone mentioned above mid code you'll actually hear the primed fuel pump go silent and shortly after the dash triangle will vanish as well.

Funny enough, there are over 170 cars currently using the offline flasher and roughly about a handful of S55s with the fuel light error on iDrive. We can't reproduce this on our test car (6mt nonzcp 2015 old software version), F80Paul has a zcp dct newer software 2016 no issue, some guys dyno tuning last night with Cary at Autotalent no light as well, all that have unlocked and flashed today as well no issues. However a small group does have it. For instance, Justin@Autotalent has it, Terry, Markus above and I know of 2-3 other guys at the moment. In any case, its not an issue that affects drivability in any way and the online flash does resolve it. We're working on it as our top priority item to get resolved for everyone though which we hope will be asap.
Each time I flash 'offline' I get the fuel light and can confirm it has no adverse driving effects. Although I did see for the first time 10mpg earlier I think the issue was more my right foot

I'm so used to e-sys now though in less than 2 minutes I've cleared it.

How does the GTS tune work without water injection?

I thought that water injection was at the heart of the GTS’s tune?

GTS needs to have a less aggressive backup map for when the water runs out. That’s the map we must be running in these tunes, and probably why the CS is a better no-compromise map as it’s not meant to be a failover mode.

That’s the premise, at least.

That’s correct. Then water injection is operating on an actual GTS the DME uses different timing and torque request tables. On a non-gts car it runs the tables that a GTS uses when the water runs out.

If I ever run out of h2o in mine I'd have to kick my own ass. Never want to feel that "sub GTS" map

I've heard those tables are more of a compromise than the CS maps despite being higher power maps. Is this true and if so, what are the effects of those compromises...do you know?

Thanks

So is a GTS switching maps on the fly?? That would be very interesting.

Or is it ONE map, with limits depending on intake temps?

Either way, a GTS tune certainly does not make an M3/4 a GTS-powered S55

Am I the first one have a bricked DME after a failed BM3 ECU unlock, yes my bad,I didn’t connect to a battery charger during this process and I have error message called “internal error” at the end of flashing. Now My car wouldn’t start and I have to pull some string to ask dealer to do a full programming to my car and I have to signed a paper to take full responsibility if Dealer ‘s programming is not working. Would feedback later once my car got flashed by dealer. Finger crossed.
Guys please connect to a battery charger, learned a lesson from me.

unfortunately it’s not working man. My car is connected to a charger in the dealer overnight. Even Dzenan helped me to redo BM3 flash, but still got error.Rightnow dealer is using BMW ISTA to help programming DME but it always stuck in 86% and eventually failed.

Just unlocked and flashed last night using a MacBook. I had a hard time getting the agent to read and pick up the connection but just turning car on (not cranking) and plugging / unplugging the cable it eventually went through.

I used a jump starter box in my trunk and had it hooked up to my battery and it's good to go.

Stage 2 93 with DP's pulls hard and smooth. The valves won't stay open and follow stock settings so I need to mess with that a little more.

Now what do I do with my jb4? Uninstall? Leave on map 0? I have it on map4 right now so I can keep my flaps open.

Another guy had the same problem but dealer was able to reprogram his car. Hopefully you gets yours sorted.

Today I finally decided to unlock my car (M3 ZCP 17) the process was eventless no errors everything went smooth. Flashed Stg2 map and the car now pulls like a train, rear tires all over the placr on the highway!!, TCU flash its a must for every f80/2 I never thought the car would drive so smooth with the TCU flash no jerking on Sport+ .
The only thing I would change are the burbles, on high rpm downshift they are loud and present, but when driving normal they very tame compared to stock zcp if they could bring back to zcp level it would be perfect.
Thank you PTF for all your support always there with answers!

im running ots stage 1. I have secondary cats deleted with midpipe and mpe so i didnt want intense and aggressive burbles. the exhaust setup already exaggerates them and i love how the car sounds now
