I thought about going that route, but have concerns about how it will look.

I know the rear will look flush since stock it is stretched, but the front in stock size is perfect and don't want to have the bulging look at all.

Not mounted on the car for another couple of weeks. Sorry

255/275 19's Bridgestone RE-71

Ordered a set of the RE-71's for the F80 M3 but they are not going to be used on the stock 437 wheels.

Instead I ordered a set of Stance SF01's and being that the M3 is already lowered on the stock 437s with the stock PSSs, they already look flush.

The offset of the SF01s are not aggressive but didn't want to take the risk of rubbing although I did add a little more negative camber to the front/rear.

Once I get these RE-71's on the M3 I will post some pictures!

Idk if they are any wider than the 71's but 2-3mm less and they wouldn't rub. The Re71's in 265/35/19 had absolutely no problem clearing. On or off track, full turn etc. Also the 275's look a little goofy to me on the stock front 19's. Turn in feels good tho. I think for the stock 19's going Re71's in 265/285 fits and looks really nice. I know it's not what you wanted but maybe it'll help.
See you both tried Yokos and RE71 Rs at this point, can you give us your POV on both. I like the idea that AD08Rs will last longer, but don't like the fact they only come in 255/275 sizes mainly (especially the rear being only 275). Thoughts?

Wow, only two track days and that much wear? Do you have a camber plates? Looks like you got the inside of the fronts to wear down with the rest of the tire semi evenly?

I ordered a set of RE-71Rs at my local Firestone and they're ready for pickup. But I keep thinking that since I won't be going with a dedicated track wheel/tire setup I need to pickup the ideal setup for my driving style

No camber plates. I ended up flipping the tire on the opposite wheels and got another 3 track days out of them.

mounted 265/35/19 and 285's re71r's on Friday, to me, world of difference better than pss. I actually think it takes bumps a tick better. I can't comment on tire noise but overall grip is improved, better turn it and way better off the line. So far, very happy.

My F82 seems to be pulling to the right after tire upgrade. Went the same route 265/285 RE71R.

I removed 15mmF/12mmR spacers to see if that helped but same issue. might need an alignment check but not sure why??

Could be a defect in the tire. If in the manufacturing process a steel belt is at all mid-aligned, it will result in a pull with power.

I had this happen on my old C5 Z06. I ended up having the tire replaced and it fixed it.

If it wasn't there before the change and it is now, that would be my first guess.

That's why I only make one change at a time, if you have any issues, troubleshooting is much easier.

Whats the difference between 255/275/35/19 and 265/285/35/19? Is it recommended to stay stock size and will moving up have any negative changes? Im planning to get a set of rears when they are done but i will still have my 255's up front. Should i just go stock size for now and then do a bigger when changing all 4? Thank you in advance for the feedback...

I was afraid to go 265 vs 255 up front. I was afraid it would feel heavy up front but it's not, great turn in feel. This was the setup tirerack recommended so I just went with it. glad I did.

Would 255 up front and 285 in the back work out since im only gonna be changing rears down the line?

I wouldn't think it would make that much of a difference but I would wait for some experts to chime in

would i be crazy to use this tire for a daily driver. I just want the ultimate grip, but most miles are commuting. Just stick with the RE-11s ? I due in the next month for rears and will be switching from mpss

not at all, I think they're comfortable coming from MPSS. I doubt they're as good though in the rain if that matters to you.

Would the noise from the tire matter if i have a cat back exhaust and ASD coded off?
