very nice photos and thanks for sharing.
I must ambit that for me when I saw the color in person it didn't look anything like any of the photos that I saw prior. In these photos the car looks very very baby blue but in person in direct sunlight to me it was a tad darker with a grey metallic tint to it. Either way def a color that people will have to see in person to get a exact representation of it.

The funny thing is i would consider ymb if I were getting an f80, but at the same time I wouldn't want it. It's too baby blue for me but these pics are amongst the lightest shade of ymb I have seen.. the color most pics show it to be darker. Regardless these pics actually make me like the color more.. The metallic! The number of white cars I counted today was ridiculous. Bmws aw mw jb mg bsm.. No joke 40/50 bummers I paid attention to today in just 35 mins behind the wheel. I just committed to mw.. But I'm already sick of it if that's makes sense.. I feel the same way about every color available. This color had an amazing amount of potential to look good, the problem is finding someone who is man enough to pull it off.. I feel the same about ay. Usually I'd be 100% committed to a bmw blue over a Bmw yellow, but both are complete toss ups.
The f80 is definitely already in my top 3 or 5 of best looking sedans! |

thats exactly the prob.
my first order was ymb... then i asked to see it live in different lights/shades.... it looks so much different. sometimes very coool but very often, babyblue or too light/milky. i d rather have a color that looks nice all the time. i changed the order to san marino blue individual. might take 2 weeks longer... but should be fine. MG is a good choice also in my opinion.... Quote:

At first I liked it, but as the day went on and I was around the car more and more in various lights I started to really like it. I think it will look better on the sedan though over the M4, I don't know why but I just think its a cool color and goes well with the M3. So yes I would consider it as a color and I may even go with that color next bc it def has a presence

I like it better than san marino blue personally. IMO SMB looks like old man blue
However, I like monte carlo, estoril or santorini quite a bit more than both of these.

Never judge a color based on indoor lighting. How much time will your car spend indoors?

San Marino is stunning.
To me, the F80 would look great it in. Better yet, Monte Carlo blue would be amazing, as would Interlagos Blue o course. Im shocked neither of those colors are avail, considering the iconic success of both. Estoril would be a no brainer too. I would also love to see the car in Imola Red.
