Our roads here aren't the greatest...is it as simple as swapping wheels or is the suspension in the comp pack tuned for the 20 inchers?

Edit: Also, I've read that the comp pack allows the car to handle its power better, but it just seems there's less torque in the first couple gears...
Easy swap. I have 20 inch for summer, and 19inch for winter. I could have gone 18inch, but got an amazing deal on some OEM 19 inch wheels

Do we need to have a presence on social media to join?

I'm anti social media. This forum is it for me. I like to keep when I take a dump to myself

There is an M Gruppe forum and Facebook page but it is not required that members participate.

Nice. I assumed it wasn't mandatory. I'll check it out. Sounds like fun. Do you guys bring the wives to some of the events? I've turned mine into a driver and she would want to participate occasionally

As CA mentioned, it's not required. In addition to posting our events in our Closed FB group and private website calendar, we e-mail our members when things are happening.

Can we bring the wives out? More like can they bring us out?!

M-Gruppe was founded and is owned by a female. She has like 4 or 5 M cars, and let's her husband have an Alpina

Hope to have you as part of the Gruppe.

I initially did not order my car with the CP. After reading more about it, I changed it and I got extremely lucky as the car went into production a few days later. I have ZERO regrets! Worth every penny.

geezus dude, drive in their shoes for minute ...

Imagine how they feel:
Every day they get into a car they know is inferior, yet they still have to pay for it!

If they want to hang out with us and, just for that moment, feel like their cars are similar to ours ... well ... let them have something, huh??

Being late to the party never stopped me from commenting so here goes. The main reason I checked the ZCP box for 18 f80, is because I've been driving 16 f80 for 2.5 years and need a novelty factor until g80 comes about.
After reading countless reviews and watching all YouTube had to offer, I was not convinced.
I scheduled a test drive. As I pulled in at the dealership, another AW f80 parked next to me. It had ZCP. My car seemed outdated compared to it.
Personal, biased opinion.
I proceeded to test drive f82 ZCP 6mt. Couldn't tell any power difference. Exhaust sounded better. Seats felt tighter, not sure if that's a good thing. Wheels, to my shock, looked really efing great.
Bottom line, I test drove Jag f-type and will drive AR quad and RS5 next week just to make sure but I have f80 ZCP on order because not ordering ZCP wouldn't make me excited about getting a new car.
Still on the fence about exec before car goes status 150.

The sooner we all accept the fact that we all basically drive M335 and M435i cars, the more quickly this "civic" vs "competition pack" vs "CS" vs "GTS" nonsense can be laid to rest.

Any kind of "special" character to an M car went out the window when BMW sold out the M brand in exchange for profit. Our cars are no more special than a Toyota Camry. In fact they probably rattle more and are built by the same robots.

Now, I'm not saying the above is a bad thing - as we all know profit is key to viability - but honestly - there is zero that's special about our cars.
