Stock Exhaust Length?

I'm having Remus sport catback installed next week, the shop is a couple hours away from me. I'm hoping I can fit the stock exhaust in the car with the seats folded down, anyone know if there's enough room to do that? Or does the stock exhaust come apart?

The only way I can see the stock exhaust fitting inside the car is if it's cut somewhere near the middle, or if you remove the passenger seat so it can stretch from the front passenger footwell all the way to the end of the trunk.

It's not the worst idea ever to cut the stock exhaust, since it can either be welded or clamped back together if you ever needed to use it.

Even with an average pickup truck it's going to hang over/out the tailgate. It's around 11 feet long if I remember correctly. Definitely a no go with your seats folded down, not even diagonal is gonna be close.

This, it's 11 feet long. I used my dads truck last week to take the stock exhaust to a shop to have it installed and then brought back my Remus exhaust in my truck since you can pull that apart easily. You can't use your car to transport the stock exhaust unless you have it cut in half.

Hey, I am on the same boat as you were 5+ year ago! lol

I’ll need to bring back the stock exhaust home after installing Valvetronic exhaust. Curious were you able to fit it in a truck or did you had to cut it? If you had to cut it where exactly did you cut it? I’m trying to keep the stock exhaust for future when reselling the car.

TIA!

If cut cleanly it can ne clamped back together similar to where it gets cut to connect to the muffler.

I was able to fit an MPE in my car but that's because there is a separation at the midpipes
