Euro Active Retrofits Android Auto MMI Opinions

Has anyone done the Euro Active Retrofits CarPlay/Android Auto retrofit? In particular this:

I'm thinking of one for my F82 M4C so I can get Android Auto working whilst retaining all the steering controls and OEM functionality as well.

Does anyone have experience with this package? I'm mainly interested to know:

1. Given Android Auto is meant for touch screens, how does using it with the iDrive controller work? For instance, I have no idea how I'd use the iDrive controller to report something in Waze.

2. Opinions on general reliability, performance, quality of fitment etc

3. How are E.A.R. to deal with in general?

This is just another rebranded China MMI box. Bimmertech has the same but offers their own firmware. They all function the same and run off the same hardware.

Check the Roadtop box thread on the F30 forum. Things half the price as well.

I checked out RoadTop but they don't seem to have anything compatible with the F82.

Given these are all identical boxes, do you know if something for an F3x would be compatible with an F82?

I believe it goes by the headunit you have, I assume you have the Nbt Evo?
I just installed the one by Andream for Android Auto purposes in my F80. Works fine
