Dealer did a DME update to my M4 today

I have an M4 Competition 2018 model so I took he cat to the dealership yesterday complaining that I've had 3 incidents when I press the M1 or M2 button nothing happens I just see the M1 or M2 logo on the dashboard flashing. That's on a cold start but after driving for a minute or so and press the buttons they work. Told them that I never experienced this with my 2017 M4 that I had before so today they did a DME update I don't k ow of this is a placebo effect but now the MDM mode seems way less intrusive and the car is more tail happy. Like before if I mash the Throttle I would just see the traction light flash andoss of power but now I don't feel the loss of power the car just skids almost as if the traction was completely off

If not found in the IDrive, check your service receipt as I think they list it under work completed.

Save your profile onto a USB stick then open the file in notepad or Word. The version will be at the top.

I don't think it's the i-step because 17-July-2017 was my delivery date so maybe that's the first time I used the iDrive........

ahhh ok, my car production date was on the 15th of May but I took delivery on the 17th of July. It was a coincidence that the newest software was the same date of the delivery hence why I got confused.
