It is, in fact, a rather pointless topic (as GrussGott implies), but you could say the same thing about almost all enthusiast forums. That's why they are enthusiasts, or fans (root word fanatics). They aren't totally objective. Very few people who have regrets will actually admit it. They use these posts to justify their choices and seek reinforcement from others that they made the right choices (i.e., manual vs DCT, ZCP vs stock, etc.). So frankly, it all starts with the OPs somewhat foolish question, and you can't blame the folks who foolishly respond (I was one of them). There is only one answer to this type of question: Buy the car you like and ignore other folks opinions. If something about a baby blue colored sports coupe seems wrong to you, then by all means don't get one. Plenty of other colors to choose from. Of course, taking this logic to its inevitable conclusion means that most of the topics on this forum are essentially inane and irrelevant, and just folks looking for reassurance. But that's a discussion for another day. "Forum Regrets?" thread, perhaps?

I had a 2017 M4 Convertible in YMB then I don't why I made a stupid decision to order the same color for mt 2018 M4 Convertible. Now I wish I went with Sakhir Orange instead I'm getting kinda bored with the blue now. Also, after washing it, give it 24 hours and with all the dust particles sticking, the color looks kinda faded and boring. It only looks great when it's super clean

They all only look great when super clean. I have to dust my car daily here in Colorado....California Duster is amazing.

i had an estoril blue F36 (gran coupe 4 series) seriously was reconsidering my decision to opt for the YMB M3. But in the sunlight this car is so unique. No regrets and I don't mind the compliments even though I do feel kind of a douchebag pulling into the hospital parking lot at work hehe
