From the test reviews and lap times there is nothing wrong with the M4CS that a sensible sticker price wouldn't resolve.

"Official" from where?

If AM&S are 32 seconds off that "official" time, something is fishy with that "official" time. AM&S also question the factory lap in the supertest article I referenced, saying it is hard to believe and also point to that funny "cut" near the end of the video.

I've come across multiple Type-Rs at the track, they are not even in the same realm of speed as my base M4, even when they are shod with aggressive R-comps. So I am quite skeptical about that Honda factory lap.

That is not even the same car that's the old gen with a live axle and a new one has a totally different rear suspension.
