The silver highlights on the black wheels looks much more subdued in your pictures, was that the case in person? I don't like the extreme contrast of polished spokes on a black wheel, it looks busy and the silver gets all the attention, but quite like how they look in your shots.

Did the silver and black wheels have the same finish over the polished spokes? thanks. I might get black with MG, as the silver/grey wheels look too close to MG and make the car monochrome.

Do these cars have vin numbers? They are preproduction models and I'm sure they will be crushed after their finished making the rounds on the auto show circuit. Very sad

Well you have convinced me to jump the pond on Saturday to see these. Great pics! Rogers or Purdys chocolate?

Thinking the same thing...even with 275/35/19 tires...I think someone forgot to remove the shipping blocks.

I didn't not use flash to take any of my pictures, so they look just like the pictures in real life. Both wheels have smooth-to-touch finish. The silver highlights on the black wheels are indeed darker than the lighter silver wheels. I would choose the darker wheels with AY, AW, MW. Wheels for other colors are a toss up.

The guy was rude. And he obviously lied to me about not having the keys. He is not very customer friendly.

I didn't see any VIN number on the cars. I didn't look for them either. I remember looking down from the windshield to look at the HUD projector and didn't see the VIN metal tag there on the top of the dashboard.

The M4 does look taller. Good for 10mm lowering suspension with ZCP in a couple of years!

Chocolate Art. They are very good. Their shop is just south of Granville Bridge.

Thanks Jockey. Glad my pictures didn't disappoint! :-) I remember when the first SSII M4 cellphone pictures came out and people were all crapping all over it. Both M3 and M4 look super nice!

It's about time BMW revised the interior and finally stepped it up a notch. The exterior is a downgrade fro the beauty of the e9x chassis, which is a shame. For a car in this price I don't understand why it can't have better performance abilities. A 30k mustang GT will be as quick around a track, and a 50k vette will own it. This car should've come with a turbo v8 making 600+ hp imo.

M engineers focused on reducing weight rather than adding power this time around (even though they did add power), and I think with the same driver the M3/M4 should easily beat a Mustang GT around a track. But of course, nobody really knows yet, including you. Also I think the exterior on the new cars is an improvement on the already beautiful E90/E92 M3. Needed to counter your statements which were spouted off more like facts instead of the opinions they are.

Thanks Sir Loin for the good quality photos!!

M4 looks so sick in YMB and silver wheels!

It's not only these pictures, but other pictures as well where the M4 looks as if it has more ground clearance.. wonder if it's an illusion or if it actually sits higher...

this car will be much quicker than the e9x m3 in a straight line and on the track. bmw claims a half second quicker to 60.

a 30k mustang will not be faster (it already was equal in the e9x gen) and this car will be just as fast in a straight line as a vette. not to mention that last gen the vette was faster than the e9x anyway so not sure how this is any different than it always has been.

LMAO at 600 hp. you do realize the price point of the m3, right? this isn't a Porsche turbo.

I'm to coward to even try to drive a mustang fast. The one i tried while hunting for a car felt like it wasn't meant to be driven at all, and on our road it's not allowed to keep the cars in the street, so if that car was a looker, it would still be pointless.

A vette is just a sad thing. I always think of giving the owner a map, so they could see the great place called Germany, where they seem to have designers that have eyes. Then I look at the driver, and it's clear that the person who bought the car knows where it is, since they visited it in 1944.

600+ HP for M3/M4? Then how much HP should M5 and M6 have? How would you price a 600+ HP M3/M4 against the rest of your product line? Is there another competitor in the same class and price range with 600+ HP?

I don't like the M3 trunk (or boot, if you prefer) lid. It looks too standard, with that add on spoiler. While the M4 trunk has an aggressive style

Who painted that M4....Ray Charles?! That pic of the rear quarter panel from the side shows two different hues of blue. The metal quarter panel is lighter than the polycarbonate bumper cover. Sweet paint for a demo car brah!

So, I'm queuing at the Peace Arch on the way home. I'm very happy I made the trip.

It made me settle on these changes:
1. M4 to M3
2. Extended tofull leather.
3. Silver to black wheels.

And I really like AY might go for that instead of MW.
And I'll stay with sunroof.

this gen BMWs seem to have great level of detail in their design. when I am up close I think wow what a machine. But when I see it 10-20 feet away it is blah. Previous generation were less of a detail but more in overall design. I don't know, I am getting ready to spend 60K on a car and I am more excited about Macan S than M3 (please don't tell me these are different categories - I know, but this is how I feel about the F3x cars)
