What does Tanzanite Blue look like?

I went to the local BMW dealership to see if they had a Tanzanite Blue and of course they didn't, but they did have a white M4 that was gorgeous! This was me:

I had an E46 Mystic Blue that actually got a few comments on how good it looked.
Then E93 Sparkling Graphite that I loved and kept all 7 years of the model run. More color flecks than Space Gray.
Now I have an Azurite Black F33 that I also love. Looks black or blue depending on light. Often looks blue at night in dim light.
Tanzanite Blue M4 is on the ship and can't wait to see it. Would be great if it's opposite to AB and looks black at night.

The parts of Tanzanite Blue that you can see at night will appear blue. This is due to light sources at night being more focused as opposed to diffused. However, TB does appear black when it's in dim settings with a diffused light source (like overcast dusk/dawn).

Since Tanzanite and Azurite are equally expensive and have quite a similar look, I think Azurite being an M-exclusive color could be an interesting choice! (TB being available as premium color on every regular 3er)

I was going back an forth between TB and YMB for quite a while - looking at it now I totally overlooked AZB back then!

Looks almost black in most lighting. In bright sun it looks great.

Here's one along side of 2 San Marino Blues.

In person it is a lot less blue and quite a bit darker than the earlier pictures in this post suggest.
