BMW Advanced Eye Camera

Thinking of getting a BMW Advanced eye and wanted to see if any body had experience of one and fitting?
That or a AAguri Fusion GTX speed trap detector and dash cam?
Welcome your feedback ?
Cheers,
Jamie

I have front and rear camera in my M3CP. Got it fitted by BMW.

The front camera is a bit large and in parking mode it senses every time a car or someone walks past. It triggers when you emergency brake or go fast over a speed bumps too.

BMW have an app that only works on a PC, but is very good. It works on a mac but does not offer all the functions.

Overall I think it is good and a good deterrent.

I asked Cotswold BMW about this camera a couple of days ago and they said it might be best to wait a little longer as there is a mkII version coming out in the near future.

Typical as just got it fitted. Haggled them conciderably and must say pleased as acts as a great deterrent if nothing else.

It's always the way isn't it. As soon as you buy anything, it's replace by something superior.....well most of the time.

It was equally as a deterrent and having been caught in a despute before it's a must IMOP.
Equally good for recording when on track, both front and rear

Only problem I have is that the playback via a Mac pc isn't, as far as I know as good as on Windows. I've used VLC player but doesn't seem to have the same functions

Well after 30 years and over a million miles I've yet to come across one of those.

I guess I must be lucky.
