Waiting for someone to show us that they will be in fact $4500 for a pair of leather carbon seats with hardware. Specs you spouted out would suggest otherwise. |

I was told they would be 5,000-5,500 from someone who hasn't had any wrong information to date on this car, id be safe to say expect 5,500. Even so thats a good deal, E9x Gts floor mounts were sold at over 2g, let alone buying the seats and harness to go with them

I have a few concerns, will they make you sign some waivers saying the seats are for off road use only and will it cause issues if you get in an accident on public roads. |

I did hear that they will individually up on delivery fit seat for driver. (Bucket seat)
I am not sure if true, but it will need to get out some kind of bolt so seat position can fit others of different lenghts? If so I guess pre production cars that press drove was different. If true, kind of nice then, as most others might not be able to drive my car :-) |

The ZCP is the competition package for the standard M4/M3. The only options really available for the GTS are the CF rims upon request, CF racing seats which make the GTS not street legal for the US.

I can order the GTS seats trough my dealer in germany for 3699 euro incl. vat per piece.
Thats more then fair if you know what the poleposition in Carbon costs (around 2k) without sliders and Stuff. |

The conversion would be ~$8500/set before shipping/duties, not including install/coding.
For that price, I'd rather go with a set of Sabelts:

Rather go with the factory one piece buckets as it will go along nicely with the interior, most likely lighter and it's still oem. If they are going to be too much money, keep it stock or go with the pole position NG in leather and alcantara.

If looking for a fixed back race shell, Pole Position NG would be much more reasonable.

Well to be honest, i would never put that sabelt in my car rater the set of performance seats i have at home.
For me the PolePosition is the best fitting bucket seat, had in numerous of my previous cars and it fits lkike a glove. I regularly buy pieces in Germany for my bimmers, wen importing them into Switzerland i have to pay 7% taxes and wen i send back the original invoice to my German dealer i get 20% of taxes back. Still a hefty price yeah but i prefair to spend 7k on seats then 10k on wheels. |
