i'm all about black cars... BUT, M3 in MW with red interior would be hard to pass on... I love the look of carbon fiber top, but from my understanding if you choose to get a sunroof thats not possible to get rest of roof carbon fiber, correct?

Correct sun/moon roof is in lieu of the CF roof.

Melting the tires Looks like it was a real track day, and not just parade laps. Nice to see you guys getting the opportunity to push your cars in their natural environment. Have fun up at the Ring!!!

Hi. Most of the wheels did have a lot of brake dust by that evening. But the lighter surface is also relatively flat/smooth and shiny/reflective, so it looks quite different in different lighting conditions, and depending on the surrounding colors. Catch the light right and it is obvious they are all two-tone wheels (whether the dark area is black or ferric grey), but not (i.e. most of the time), then it isn't obvious. Especially when dirty.

need more picks of that SO/SO, in the few I saw it doesn't look like the shades are that far off (less so than the M5 SO/SO pictures I saw, not sure how that's possible unless they changed the leather color). Obviously the metallic exterior paint changes color in different lighting while the seats can't do that (or can they ).

But speaking of the SO looking different in different lighting...I thought the SO M3 and M4 looked slightly different when side by side. I entertained the idea they aren't 100% matches because they are painted in different plants, but I think the issue is that the M4 has more large radius (smooth) curves and the M3 has both more slightly flatter surfaces and more sharper curves. The angle at which you see SO affects shade, and difference in curves affects those angles. That, and even though the cars were side by side the lighting was also a bit different. I couldn't say one or the other looked better, just slightly different. And that SO looked better in person than I expected from photos. I'm now debating between it and MG. |

So/so doesn't look as bad as I though. Hmmm, need to see it in person but that could prove difficult. Luckily I have 12-13 months before placing an order.
I think the back of the seats being black and the leather being a mix of black and orange on the dash helps break it up. |
