Thanks everyone for the comments. It is a trip of a lifetime doing ED on a vehicle, if any of you have the chance do not hesitate.

i would if that was the case. This was a fully loaded vehicle albeit but over double the price no thanks. Quote:
Thanks man also heres a repost of how Yeah took me a second to think it through, but if you look the floor is covered so there must be a platform underneath him and the pole goes up and connects through his sleeve. Once in the sleeve a rod goes through to a smaller platform upon which he sits.

That trip looked awesome. Congrats on the new car, can't wait to get mine! I elected to do the PCD this go around due to time constraints, but my next BMW will definitely be doing the ED.

Awesome trip pictures...I've been to Vienna before...there were these small eateries near the cathedral when I was there...great food. Brings back the memories...

Sweet car; good luck with it.
Please tell me you pony'd up for non-watermark versions of pictures on the Ring.

Great write up! This pretty much confirms that I will be getting my F80 via ED as well. Enjoy the ///M

Great write up, but need more details on the important parts
How was the parking situation in Croatia ? Im sure you got a hotel with guarded self-parking, but were the spots decently sized or were you constantly worried about being dinged? What about the other locations? You mentioned self parking outside of Rome, but again, were the spaces large enough or protected enough that dings were not a concern ? Same thing with Lake Como ? Finally, you mentioned you drove the ring "well within safe limits".. For some of us that haven't tracked their cars their entire lives, is it still drivable/fun or is it dangerous because you end up holding up other people that are track junkies and much faster ? Thanks! |

Congrats that must looks awesome. Like usual you Americans get all the benefits. I would love to try an ED but being from Canada we get no breaks in pricing.
Hopefully one day BMW Canada decides to offer the same package here. |
