I had to tighten mine more than anticipated.

What I ended up doing was tightening, wiggled them up and down to check. Retighten as needed.

No. Its obvious but you are using a wrench to tighten it right?
Actually i pulled a dummy move and ordered the wrong size and that's why the clamps didn't work.

I ordered the carbon tips from Alibaba and they arrived to the UK in 2 days, which is frankly black magic. The quality is second to none for what is essentially a counterfeit ///M tip, the fit was perfect, and they look magnificent. I went for the 70/92/105 tips with the 105mm length being just right.
Not sure if this link will work, but these are the ones I bought https://www.alibaba.com/product-deta...5cf23e5fTURDVt

In my opinion, David Fan tried to pull a fast one on me to try and get an extra $15... he gave me a price, I paid it, then asked for more to cover the currency conversion fees even though he'd originally claimed his original price was inclusive of all fees. But I really wanted the tips so I reluctantly sent him another $15 and voiced my disapproval at his methods, but that aside, the product was delivered in perfect condition and super quick. They're on the car now and I'm absolutely made up with them.
Apologies if this image looks massive, I dunno how to shrink it on a forum.

Looks good!

I think this would be a good option for those who have MPE’s and don’t want to spend $$$ on BMW tips

They're legit, I'm massively cynical when it comes to cheap tat from China but these are outstanding... I wouldn't have questioned them if they'd been ordered direct from BMW as OEM. No wonky logos, deformities, imperfections, can't speak highly enough of the ones I went for.

those of you who have had them on for awhile now... how are they holding up? i saw locally a parked m4 with tips like these and the mounting hardware was rusting (not stainless?), and the carbon shields were delaminating. was hoping to hear that the ones on this thread are better.

Mine are holding up fine, but only a couple months old. No salt, garages, couple thousand miles.

I just got mine. A few notes. The clamp bolts were 2 different sizes perhaps from different lots. One 13mm one 14mm. They look great. Only issue is the chrome overhang to carbon at the end is not perfect length left to right. It's hard to tell but whatever for $289. Install was a joke. He was out of the brushed so I got the chrome as the OEM is chrome on the outside and brushed inside I believe. I can always scuff down the inside.

Here is the best way:

WD40 the inside behind the tips and inside at the lip of the tips. Use a drift or a hammer and hold it SIDEWAYS onto the bottom of the tip and hit it with a dead blow or other hammer. They slid right off and no damage. I also taped off and painted the clamp hardware flat black.

I have had mind now for few weeks.

CF with brush steel finish. Painted the hardware.

Looks good like everyone said.

However, make sure to check the screws as I notice they seem to get loose every once in a while.

My guess it is from the vibration of the exhaust when the valves are open.

Nah you can use blue loctite and they will still break loose. Just don't use the red loctite.

Wow! I have the matte and they turned some after tracking the car but I was able to get them back to pretty much normal with metal polish. They've not undergone any color change under normal driving conditions

Likewise, had mine for almost 6 months I think. Still as chrome as they were the day I got them.

Ngl that looks pretty cool, I wouldn't mind having that happen to my tips. Cheaper alternative than the $2,695 gold Eisenmann tips lol

First post and wanted to use it in this thread! Just wanted to give a huge thanks for finding these! Just submitted my order through Rechel @ Dongguan KEMIR CFRP Co., Ltd.

Went with 70/92/105 Gloss CF. Will throw up pics as soon as I receive to confirm QA.

Does anyone have an pictures of any that are 115mm in length? I'm probably going to go with the 105s but I'm curious what the 115 look like.

I have the V Style (Vorsteiner Rep) diffuser and I am curious if the 105 will be too tucked seeing its a bigger diffuser.
