When he's not at a light anyway... You have to skip a bit but there's some good stuff in there. A good look at the HUD and such. Also a good taste of the cabin sound. Clearly the car will fully enable you to drive like an a-hole. Sorry if it's anyone here, but I think I saw over 110mph in a 40mph zone there at one point.

Is it wrong that I didn't even bother to watch it? The description was perfect enough that my mind played it all out for me

Thanks for posting it though. I wonder which one of us this is... 110 in a 40 eeesh. On the one hand, to each their own in terms of judgment... On the other... Didn't we already see someone parallel into some trees?

Having a nice car doesn't give someone a pass for being a douchebag. I'm personally saving all the hard driving for the track. Maybe I'm just getting old, but I've seen too many people get hurt or killed by morons who drive recklessly.

I watched parts of the video, main the beginning. It seems to me that the speed number on the HUD might be set to KMPH, not MPH. A stop light 90-degree slow corner at 20+ MPH would be to fast. From the car's speed relative to other cars and the objects on the road, MPH might be too fast. The quality of the video is too bad that I can't really see the speed unit label on the HUD.

Anyone else thinks it could be KMPH or is it just me?

It's 100% MPH, I zoomed in! Oh well I don't see what the big deal is, traffic is light, roads are wide enough and the condition, well it just can't get any better. Let him enjoy.. Good driver! But next time make sure you start filming once you get out of your street if you know what I mean.

Hahahaha this is palomar airport road and I saw rancho Santa Fe at one point. I've seen u around Encinitas, no plates right ?

If you're going to take your new M3 for a ride, why ride around an area where it's literally infested with other drivers? I'm unfamiliar with California but surely there has to be some type of woodland escape where you actually experience a corner or two.

This type of video of just droning around the freeway makes the car sound and feel a tad boring.


Not sure why people want to take their toys and play with them with other people around, I prefer going where no one else is, so you can really enjoy the car/bike.

Yeah. I live in California and I have big plans for this general area right here, lol. Oh and Death Valley. There are plenty of desolate California roads where you only endanger yourself driving like this but if you don't live there you'll end up doing 100 on on ramps all the time to try to enjoy your car.

Just make sure you don't put it on youtube I'm not sure about CA but there was an incident in NY when a driver posted his "spirited" driving around the city and he got arrested after he posted the video on youtube. I think posting videos contain traffic violation by drivers makes them liable to be arrested unless it is a year after the incident.

Agreed! Don't put it on YouTube. A motorcycle rider on Vancouver Island got done by the police after his vid went viral... The driver of this vid is obviously not a lager lout, but I don't think it was wise to show his home.

No worries, I don't do cameras ever, except in cars and coffee meets, and even then the lens points at others cars.

Besides, I'm a good girl, who would suspect me ever?! I'm sure Seattle are will be full of F82's in Ay driven my women...

One of my closest friends died driving recluse on the exact same fwy. He left behind a daughter & 6 months alone Pregnant wife. I stopped driving like an a$$hole years ago but when I was younger.... let's just say I consider myself very lucky I never killed anyone. To many people die this way. Killing yourself is one thing... Killing an innocent person is whole other ball game. Enjoy but stay safe out there.

I agree completely. That indeed is the reason I go out only when others are not around. I'm sorry for your loss.
