I used to check BMW's tracking system every day. I damn near went insane. I can recall a distinct moment in 2005 when I fully realized this. LOL! I was in Brazil (..training, vacationing, visiting friends, etc.), and I had already ordered my '05 ZCP M3. I was checking the damn PC every few hours hoping for a status change. I could barely concentrate. A girl was hitting on me while at the beach, but I was too busy occupied with all thoughts ///M and saying to myself, "My Interlagos ///M is finally on the boat. I can't wait to go back to the U.S. next month and get my car. Etc. Etc.". She walked away. It didn't dawn on me until an hour later that I passed up some vag just to daydream about an ///M3. Fail!

I only foresee my insanity getting worse. Especially as the car goes into production. I put the over/under at about 15-20 times, for the number of page visits per day I'll make.

I was the same way with that tracking system and my E90. It was the first car I ordered instead of buying it off the lot.

Agreed. The bottom part of the color definitely has a weird look to it in this exposure.

Probably white/blue daytime and amber at night. That's what my 2013 F10 and my 2014 X3 do.

Guages were not amber on E9X cars….

I don't know if anyone has commented on this, but I am really digging that there is what looks like a sunglasses storage compartment below the headlight switch. I hope the M4 has this too???

That is only there if you don't get the driver assistance package. The buttons for that package are place there when you have it.

What's in the driver's assistance package? I'm in Canada and the packages seem to differ from country to country.

ymb is the most difficult color to photograph. i swear it has some phase shift in it and BMW does have colors that do that. in person on overcast day i saw no purple in it. it didn't even look powder blue. looked like estoril blue with a hint of grey. which of these are the real ymb? i say all of them! you don't like the color, just walk 2 inches left or right. haha

I'm not sure sunglasses fit in there or I should say it depends on what type of sunglasses you got.

When the car is coded with the "transport mode" is does throttle down the power quite a bit and disables many settings to discourage joyrides and high Revs from Happy dock / dealer workers. The sounds will be nowhere near what it would be under normal operation.

In regards to the color I agree that your pics are the best real life representation I have seen especially without the fancy show lights. IMHO the color looks too soft on this car and it is very much a light smurf blue color. This is one of those colors that you either Love or hate with no room in the middle. I do not see this color staying around longer than 1 or 2 MY runs.

M3 pics

I guess the cool looks were reserved for new technology i8. As far as appearances go the 2008-2013 e92 M3 looks like the newer model. The M4 looks like body by BMW, details by JC Whitney. Way to busy.

This IS extended leather. Full has the glove box completely covered in leather in the same color.
