BMW M3 & i8 @ Autobahn

I hired a F80 M3 and tried max speed at Autobahn in Germany but couldn't reach faster than 266kph in the speed meter because of the speed limiter.

At the same time, I hired an i8 from BMW on Demand at BMW Welt and tried max. It easily reached 250kph. Wind noise in the i8 is much less than that in the M3.
