PS: Going to BMW M Power event on the 23rd at Mosport, not sure if others here are going. Back straight of the track, I got it up to 280 with the modded 335i. Then you gotta slam on the break REAL HARD. That said, doable!

I know there is one other Canadian ED trip owner that is going to be there for the PM.

I am going to make arrangements at the end of the week when I am back in town.

Meanwhile, I lost the ship, well at least it has not updated it position since entering the Ocean over 23hrs ago.

Terrestrial AIS can't track more than 30-50 miles off shore. Satellite AIS can but usually costs $$'s (I couldn't find a free service). The ship will magically re-appear near Halifax in about 6 days.

Hey M4me. Have you had updates about the trip across Canada to here in Victoria? I am also here, and my M4 is on Torrens. Just curious about the land travel time. Looking forward to seeing your AY/SS combo!

Nope, no updates on the trek across the country. I tried registering with CN but they won't provide access unless you're actively shipping with them and in any event, from other posters it seems that accurate tracking is next to non-existent. There is a public schedule posted at this site which indicates it takes about two weeks to get from H'fax to Vancouver.

I was on that same boat and I'm hoping that the car made the same train. Don't know what further delay there is for getting on a truck over to Victoria - hopefully that's minor. I'm holding my breath hoping the car arrives late next week, which would make the Halifax to Victoria time about 17 days.

Let's connect when the both cars have arrived. PS - I switched my order to AY/BLK and if I recall correctly you have an SO and did the ED (lucky you)

Yes my wife and I did the ED/Trip. It was unreal! BMW held nothing back on that adventure. Do not know how I will be able to travel like a regular any more, lol.

Oh yes we were! I have 140GB of GoPro with over 10 of us over 220km/hr for a good stint. We hit the 255 mark numerous times. Depressing when a Jag F type flies bye at closer to 300! lol. I will forward some videos to Farley and he can post if he likes.

Cool! I also just found a cell app that tracks the ship in real-time but when you use the same app on the PC it shows that it is still just leaving the English channel. Wired or what?
