F8x M4 Bolt-in harness bar / roll cage options

Got several PMs about such options.
Here's a link.
Thanks

$1750 seems a bit expensive, I paid $2500 for roll cage, powder coat & rear seat delete.

Looks cool!
Though it wouldn't be compliant with NASA and SCCA recommendations as the main rear support braces have to go straight from the upper main loop to rear end left/right of shock tower in one straight line.
Where are the floor plates bolted to?
And I'm assuming you can unbolt the frame and fully reverse to stock?
I like the seat delete looks clean.

I went with the straight leg version seen here https://studiorsr.com. It's been a challenge to get it though since the shop just moved to a new location.

...and I forgot to mention.
JPmarketingllc.com charges only $170 for powder coating
(that's a subsidized price).

Thanks, I requested to have it welded and the attached picture shows the shock tower part of it. I had also had them modify it so I could make rear suspension adjustments by simply raising the rear trunk.

Thanks for info, good discussion.
1/2 cage welded is good (and of course full cage is better)! However, many like to reverse the car to stock and almost all bolt-in main loop designs just get bolted to the thin floor and won't do any good in case of an overturn.
Our main loop gets bolted to rear passenger seat beam with large brackets that can survive some roof impact plus they have a large floor bracket bolted to OEM seat belt bolts. In addition we center our main loop to the B pillar to get max support in case of side impact. Of course the above and the 6 chassis connecting points makes it much more tricky for manufacturing ergo the price.
Was the seat delete custom made for you or is that something one can buy?

It was made by Sadistic Ironworks out here in California. They make rear seat deletes for every car that has a cage (or partial cage).

Whats with no support for the F80 4 door? I would like a fully bolt in half cage harness bar which actually works and not for show.

We and our customers use our products for racing. Our design is one of the strongest.
I think the lower floor platform between 2 door and 4 door is the same.
I will check and get back!
Thanks!

Have you installed it yourself? That floor board is like a Pepsi can bottle. Just as flimsy. Anything that bolts to a thin floor board is not a good cage. I dont care if they send a train rail to bolt in between. It still doesnt make it stronger.

Im looking for a true bolt in harness bar like the Previous generation Ms had. But there is never any support for the 4 door.

Thank you.

My shop installed.

I'd say it's pretty safe if NASA-approved.
