Also those with sunroofs what can be done to replicate a CF roof (wrap?)........found an M3 exactly the way I want it but it has a damn sunroof SMH!!! Trying to see if I can live with it. Help please!

Sunroof on a M3 is ghetto. Try to find one that already has a CF roof, or get it replaced.
If you can't do either of those, then get a huge discount and live with it. I don't know if I'd want to swap out an entire roof panel... too much money and will have rattles and other stuff if not done properly. |

If I understand you correctly, what you're asking is insane. You cannot swap roofs. The benefit of having a car from the factory with a CF roof is a lower center of gravity. Wrapping a sunroof car with CF is like lipstick on a pig. It's still pig weight wise. Those who opt for a sunroof actually enjoy the added UV rays and wrap it in black/CF vinyl just for the looks. I think you're better off spending that $5K on the exact car you want with the roof you want.

We have done many carbon roof swaps on the E90, E92, F10 and even on the F87 chassis. F80 or F82 would be the same process.
Roof panel would be replaced with the carbon fiber version. Here is the process on the E90 M3 that we documented. http://ind-style.com/ind-installs-an...on-fiber-roof/

Are you serious or joking??.....it's individual f80, BMW certified, fully loaded (minus competition), full SO interior, 6k miles, mint, $66k. I'm getting a good trade in plus cash incentive on my current m4....is this a good deal?

What year and color? For $5k you can have the whole car wrapped in vinyl any color you want. It’s not ideal for everyone but it’s better than a roof swap.

Well to be honest... you're only Half Loaded, since the two major check-boxes are:
Comp PKG Exec PKG As far as resale on an individual color... well I'd hate to break it to you, but it only matters if you can find the right buyer who values the color equally or more than you do. I would never do a roof swap - deal with what you have, or do a Gloss Black wrap and it will look super clean - don't do a CF wrap, it will look awful combined with the black sunroof. |

"good deal" and "cash incentive" are number games that a dealership plays. I'd need to first know the exact specs of the car you are on to tell you. As far as the roof swap...yeah don't do it. Either wrap it if you enjoy the look or keep looking if you have to have a CF roof. |
