► Sakhir Orange & 3 Leather Choices
imo i think black is the only leather option for such a loud color as sakhir orange.
the problem is i don't like black and the closest alternative i found and like is cohiba brown which i believe would make a great combo. but im also torn on amaro and golden brown; sometimes i see these colors working but not as much as cohiba brown... what would you guys pick?

Love GB...but I agree that it might not work with SO. Cohiba would be beautiful I think.

Before ordering my SO/SO, I had this dilemma also. I was thinking black, but I saw an M4 that was SO/SO at the dealership, and that was all it took. I recommend that you try and see the SO/SO & SO/BLK in person if you haven't already, just to make sure you don't like those options, then decide on the others.

Cohiba brown has a very purplish tint. I think that would clash with SO terribly. Amaro brown or Sonoma Beige would be a much better fit.

Will you go with full leather? If so, the lower part of the dash will be in the same color as the seats, which was the reason why I didn't choose Amaro Brown since it would be just a bit too bright for me (I went with Cohiba Brown instead). But okay, this is a different question, regardless of the exterior color (which actually is the topic here ). Golden Brown has an orange tint, which maybe wouldn't look that good with SO.
SakhirM4 I've also seen some pics of Cohiba Brown where you could see something like a purplish tint. But it's definitely not the case in person. |

SO/SO M4 owner here and I love it!!! I only get compliments about the color combo on the car! The SO leather is not as loud as the exterior, so you really need to see it in person.

i did check out an so/so and for me it was too much red.
i currently have le mans and fox red and that is the most red i can take unfortunately . in addition, i can definitely eliminate cloth as well. ^ can you post some pics of your cohiba brown?

I have only phone pics, so they are not the best unfortunately.
I also wanted something different than black, but not too light because of the maintenance (I like Silverstone though). I really like Cohiba, especially with the contrast stiching, it looks very classy. |

I think Cohiba could be beautiful inside the car. I've never been one for loud colors on cars, but Sakhir just grabbed me the right way and I ended up with SO/SO. They're not precisely the same orange, but they do work together very well.
Yes, it's a lot of orange. I'm going to take a moment now to whine about the lack of a interior option like fox red/black/black on the E92. I wish BMW would offer a similar Sakhir/Black option. Granted, there's a lot of black in the Sakhir interior, but I think I would go for the bolsters in the seats being black also. |

I've also never been one for loud cars but fell in love with Sakhir Orange when I saw it on an M4. I found black to be a bit to drab for the interior but couldn't bring myself to have a bright or light interior. So in the end I order Cohiba to give just enough contrast to raise an eyebrow.

Not a giant fan of any of those choices combined with SO to be honest. SO/Gold Brown just would not work.
IMHO, either go SO/SO, SO/Cloth, SO/black with SO contrast stitching. My 2 cents
