I drive a red E90 M3 and cops tend to jump in behind me on the highway as soon as they see me getting up to speed. It is funny. And in fact, I see other more stealth cars zoom on and the cops just stay behind me. And this is when I am not even speeding or just below the speed limit.

Once a cop decides to "follow" me, I actually stay about 5 or 10 mph below the speed limit just to see them blow steam... typically the younger cops get mad and dash off like they have to find the next bathroom.

So, I believe Red does get more cop attention.

Don't forget the e53 X5 4.6is/4.8is had Imola red as a standard color as well

I imagined while you were making this statement, you were pushing up or adjusting your glasses.

Stunning. I'd like that on my M2 just like I want my Cayman GTS in Carmine Red!

I think BMW is afraid to offer this color.

I doubt their "Efficient" production lines could keep up with orders.

Imola Red is a Quintessential M color.

(I'm beating a dead horse, though)

Beautiful color!

So refreshing to look at a real red instead of trying to pretend that SO is "almost red" Should be a standard color for sure!

That is, what describes the colour best. A real red. No frills. Not burgundy, not light, no metallic, no effects at all. I wantet to add a picture of the "colour-label". Officially it´s Imola Red II. Note: The colour in the background is NOT imola red (IMO).The engine bay is paintend in a slightly different red. Or so it looks.
