This car does not handle poorly for a 4500 lb large sedan.Like a F8X you have to take a few minutes at set the defaults to set the shocks, power & transmission shifting and then they are in the memories. When the I 1st drove the car all the defaults were set for the track and frankly it was awful but it quite livable as an everyday car if set the performance parameters to what your needs are.it is too large for my tastes and would never be a replacement for my M4.
Well unless I am blind, that is a coupe not a sedan as that is a Challenger not a Charger. And every review that I have read on this car rates its handling as near terrible... this is what u get for a 707 hp $60k car.

Oh and 707 hp... great but it weighs as much as an Abrams tank so it doesn't perform like a 707 hp should. Also, 707 hp out of a 6.2L supercharged V8... in 2015? Wow, a comp pack M5 runs around on nearly 600 out of a motor nearly 2L less in size.... Doesn't dound as impressive when you put it that way, does it? Simply put, its a trash car w a halfway decent motor crammed in.

It is still fun as hell though, with the massive noise, and the ultraballastic kick in the back. Great car, but not my style. BTW I think on a straight line due to the lack of power down and poor tranny, I think M5 F10, M6 F06/12/13, C63 AMG S, M4 JB4 Stage 2, CLS63, E63 , RS7, RS6 cream this car, as it just can't put power down, and this tranny is pretty terrible at handling with the torque. Still I really enjoyed this beast.
You do know that with 700 + horsepower & over 650 ft lbs of torque the throttle is much more than a light switch? With the proper throttle application this car hooks up in 2nd gear and pulls almost a G in acceleration? That is right there with any of the factory rockets available. For the money this car is a bargain!

Oh I am well aware of how it works with the car, I just could never drive one even if its 10000x better. I hope and pray Ford will be coming out with a new GT500 making 700hp in stick, lightweight with tires that can handle the power.

+1 It might be heavy but I'm sure its no slouch in a straight line. I'd love to "borrow" one of these for a few days.

But seriously, I would love to giggle my day driving this thing. It would be a BLAST!

It's not a foreign product so obviously it's inferior...

It serves exactly what it was built for and at a good price for it's target consumer. I mean come on 700hp stock for the same price as a M4? Plenty of people love the way it looks which are obviously subjective.

I'm not a fan overall and wouldn't buy one but can appreciate what they did there at a very good price point. I wouldn't mind driving it around either for awhile. Man 700hp with a warranty off the showroom floor for under $80k? That right there seemed far fetched a handful of years ago.

Lol @ all the hate, though it's to be expected I guess

The coolest part about the Challenger Hellcat is that it comes with a third pedal IMHO

And you're a bailout pusher... I thoroughly appreciate a C6 Vette or Mustang GT350R as well as a Viper... if I wanna go fast straightline, I'll add a few dollars and buy a Z06 or like anyone with wants for a 700 hp car, I'll mod my own... this is a cheap pushover made by a compny that almost universally across the board produces junk.

Let me ask u... if bmw took a 320i sport package, added super wide tires and wheels and put an S63tu from the M5... do u think it would be inferior to a hellcat? serious question

... and you ethically hate the Hellcat because it comes from the Chrysler group which is owned by Fiat now?

I was born in this era and this was my first car '73 Javelin AMX, had a 401 ci V8 with 4 barrel Rochester Quadrajet and a 4 speed Borg Warner T10 transmission.

M4 can still lighten em up with DSC OFF so I don't think it will be that bad. Maybe on the highway you'll notice it more. 6mph trap speed difference is noticeable

Time for some mods ?

Understand that these cars were fitting for the time / era... remakes can be done well and poorly... Thats a cool car for the time, I love the eleanor mustang of the time and the Sls is a solid remake of a Gullwing... the hellcat is

I sold my incoming GT4 to a friend/client so I felt a need for a more dedicated track car so I ordered one of these for myself with the track package.I love the idea of a normally aspirated V8 with a 8200 rpm redline.

Saw one at the drag strip. It looks good in person. Hard to launch though.
