WOWWW sooo pretttyyyyy .

Is this lowered at all? Any rub? I've got a YMB M3 ZCP and I need to figure out what to do. I've been debating between the 12/10 or 15/12. I just don't want any rubbing if I put on the H&Rs. Any idea if this will effect my drivability in any way?

It looks like you have a lot of experience with spacers.
I drive a M3 F80 Competition LCi II with standard M666 wheels.
What is the maxium spacer i can Install with stock suspension, no negativ chamber, etc.?(Everything stock) Of course no rubbing.
12f/15r or 15f/15r or 15f/17.5r?
In case of with performance or KW HAS same question. Maximum spacer?, no negativ chamber (stock), no rubbing.

In case i drive very simple and not a lot of time agressive. I have not often passengers begind me.

Thx

Hey, sorry about the full inbox, cleared it out a bit. On stock suspension, I had 12f and 15r. The rear seemed fine but the front could have used a 15 and been fine. 18 might have pushed a bit too much

Hey!

No problem! Thanks for info..
And the setup 12f/15r or 15/f/15r also would work with performance or kw has? with No rubbing and no negative chamber?

I'm contemplating something similar. I already have HR springs for lowering and 15mm spacers for all four sides...they just aren't installed yet (planned on doing it next weekend). I'm jus contemplating if I should keep the 15mm all the way around, or get rid of one set of 15s and get a set of 12s for the rear. Instead of running 15f/15r it'd be 15f/12r.

Thoughts on 15f/15r vs 15f/12r? Any rubbing issues with aggressive driving on 15s all the way around? It'd make my life easier installing what I have, but I want to make sure its right...so if I have to get rid of 15s for the rear... so be it.

Who are you guys getting your M Performance HAS kit from? Does the kit specify the BMW recommended drop amount? What is the drop amount BMW recommends?

My guess would be aerodynamics. Take a look at nascars, their wheels/tires are tucked. Every bit helps to improve the mpg ratings to sell cars at the sacrifice of appearance.

Purchased my kit from getbmwparts, they're a sponsor on bimmerpost.

Yeah the install instructions include the BMW recommended height adjust, the drop recommended is 20mm f/5 mm r.

Purchased my kit for $1210, getbmwparts had a special in Aug, currently sales for $1260.

Advantages for me, BMW approved, installed and warranted.

Installed 15f and 10r Burger Motorsport spacers yesterday. Lowered on H&R springs.

Thanks!

No issues with the lip, other than rubbing a hand full of times, mainly due to operator error, it's inevitable I guess. Just gotta take the bad with the good sometimes. Distractions and speed is what got me. But you'll do fine, just take it easy and enjoy the ride.

And remember it's just a piece of plastic.
