And here are some pics of the wheels with 12mm spacers all the way around.

I just took it for a ride (SA to Kerrville via highway 16, and then back on I-10). The hill country curves were fun, but I kind of regretted not having the DCT, as it was awkward shifting in some tight turns.

V1 is mounted to the right of the rear view mirror. Concealed display is mounted to the left of the gauges (on the dash by the windshield). Savvy plugs in the OBD2 port (in the foot well (above the dead pedal). Savvy has two plugs. One wire goes to V1 and the other to the concealed display. The wires get tucked along the seals. The whole process took 10 minutes and is a true plug-n-play. No splicing required and can be removed very fast too.

Hi everyone, just wanted to add myself to the list of lucky M3/M4 owners here in Austin and introduce myself. My sales rep at BMW of Austin called me a couple weeks ago to let me know they had an M4 en route that was available, Alpine white, black cloth, DCT, etc... virtually identical to my current E92 M3. I wasn't looking to buy an M4 but when one practically falls in your lap it's hard to pass up, so yesterday I took delivery and while I've only got 25 miles on it so far, I couldn't be happier. You can feel the difference in low end torque right off the bat, but I'm gonna miss the howl of the V8 once I sell the E92, that car just sounds absolutely amazing at WOT.

The M4 has the 18" wheels and just doesn't look quite right in my opinion, so those will likely go up for sale soon or get used for track wheels. It definitely needs sport springs and wheel spacers asap, along with a set of 19's to give it that aggressive stance, so that's all going on the to-do list for now.

I'm really looking forward to getting this thing out to COTA and see how it compares to the E92... the fat torque curve is going to make this a killer track car. If anyone is in the market for a 2010 M3 with a killer exhaust setup, let me know!

So...

I recently was about to drop two grand on an Escort 9500CI when somebody at work told me that laser jammers are illegal in Texas. Sure enough, I looked it up and a law was passed outlawing them in 2011. I opted for the Beltronics STiR Plus system instead which is basically the same as the Escort 9500CI minus the laser jammers, and minus about $700. Install is next week.

Also, I wanted to order my rear diffuser / rear spoiler / side skirts and front splitters but the rear diffuser is on backorder. That sucks! I may wait until everything is in stock.
