IC. Is it possible to get a close up shot of the actual 3D symmetrical and multi-directional weave?

A similar product would be from Varis Japan. Both are made in Japan using similar production.

3D Design approached the F8X M3/M4 platform a touch differently than generations past. The entire F8X program is pre-preg autoclave carbon fiber. Unfortunately, the ability to run an autoclave is not cheap. Yes, OEM manufacturers do this, but the economies of scale is substantially greater with BMW than 3D Design Japan.

3D decided on using pre-preg autoclave manufacturing because the end result is simply of a higher quality than vacuum-infusion. Through the introduction of a much higher pressure on the product, an autoclave will create more precise and crisper lines than vacuum-infusion. Also, combining pre-preg material with this production method will yield consistent weave and a very strong end product. Pre-preg allows the manufacturer to get the exact ratio of material to resin.

Hopefully that answers some questions, but if any should arise feel free to contact us directly. We are always happy to field questions via PM, email, or phone.

Ordered my front lip from IND. I'm just hoping it lasts longer than a few days at my ride height.

Thanks IND.
