Thanks for coming out! It was great checking out your M4 in person. The color does not do justice via pictures. YOU ROCK!

Fantastic photography and very cool to see the forum members enjoying their new M's out at the track
We need you next time for a better photoshoot

Stock brakes will hold up dependent on your driving patterns. With a upgraded pad, you might be fine!

Within 14 hours of owning mine, I was on the track!

2) Is it ok to take M3/4 on the track during break in period? I only ask because I'm going to INDE Motorsports Ranch this weekend mainly to race my E36, but it will be hard to resist taking my new M4 out on the track too. It will only have about 700 miles on it but I would just take it out in Novice group and just stay in 4th and 5th gear to stay under 5500 rpm. I only fear the "red mist" and the temptation to start pushing her a little further than I should.

Any opinions are welcomed.
I ran the R888. They were awesome for the 4-5 laps, after that, they were a little greasy. It was very hot out so that might had something to do with it. I also run RS3 and NT01. I like them all.

I've been raping my M3 since day one of ownership. Break-ins are overrated.

A bit tough to tell with overcast, but here's a comparison. Mineral White on the M3, Alpine White on the M4:
