There's definitely a performance optimization if you dumped the need for the factory crap ass PCV flap.

I heard from a reputable engine builder that the VTT Valve Cover has an issue…the front PCV tube gets a lot of oil spray that goes right down to your turbo, or an OCC fills up really quick. There are a couple small holes inside the PCV connections but they're not stopping the oil spray off the valve train chain. My guy suggests VTT add some sort of screen or shield inside the opening to prevent the oil spray sucking into the PCV tube.
Chris, any more info on this issue?

Did anyone have the same issues as listed above or find a solution ? I was looking to purchase a valve cover but worried about having issues.

Be aware if you want to buy this cover. There are issues!
I purchased the cover and the cover eliminated the stock PCV valve. Which means you will have to run oil catch can. But the problem is it fills up too quick. I drove the car 3 laps on a track and the catch can was almost full. I also opt to the breather valve, be aware, if you put the breather vavlve on it will just spray engine oil all over your engine bay and on the track too. Not sure why this is and if VTT actually tested this product under hard driving condition. |

I’m currently having this issue I have a single Turbo build and I’m noticing a large amount of back pressure and also heavy leakage out of my breather and catch can! |
