OP, nice but a bit out of my price range once you add up all the extras needed to get that exhaust note.

If under a budget, This is the best I've heard, the sound with open valves is crazy good, deep and throaty. Not bad for an axle back slip on.

Ok i will try to explain, it is difficult to me, i’ m italian.

I tried several combination of dps, midpipes ecc and the best possibile, for me, was with with resonated dp and 200 celle cats.
The combination of AA and 200 celle cats is the best possible for elimination of rasp.

Here is a combination with Ess dp 200 celle catted, Aa midpipe, akra slip on:

Sound very very good but i want dp completely catless for best performance.
So i have shop the AR DESIGN DP RESONATED CATLESS.
These dp are very very good...clean sound and minimal rasp. (Sound very good with stock exhaust too, i try it)

Here is a combination with: AR dp, AA midpipe and akra (full catless):

Sound very good and very agressive!
The problem is the terrible smell and too louder for me.
A little rasp too...i must put 200 celle cats for eliminate damnate rasp.

So i cut the 200 celle cats from ess dp (it is crazy i know...these dp are 2300$) and weld its on slip on akra!
Like wrc cars that have cats in the rear of exhaust.
The problem was to weld the titanium with the steel.....akra is all titanium.
So I made a titanium wrap on gesi 200 celle cats!

I know, it’s very crazy but i m happy!

Sounds great but I feel like the easiest way to get rid of the rasp is to warm up the engine?

Exactly what I was going to post. Single pipe MP solves all exhaust woes. Everything else just tweaks volume and pitch.

Not correct.
Dp ar design resonated sound very different from vrsf and akra....i try it.
But single midpipe is basic for eliminate rasp and bass tone sound.

i don't think it makes sense to chop up $2300 ESS downpipes when you can buy individual high flow cats to install instead for a 5th of the price.

If I do indeed keep this car, I will be going with AA mids, cheap(ish) DPs, and stock exhaust. I think that gives the best sound and minimal rasp. Should be easy to keep under $1k with that setup and still have a decent sound.
