I found IMHO the best sound for my M4 (video inside)

After several installations i finally found my best configuration for sound.
No rasp, no extremely louder....sound good in my opinion!
My configuration is:
-DP AR DESIGN RESONATED CATLESS
-AA MIDPIPE
-AKRA SLIP-ON with welded VIBRANT GESI CAT 200 celle
-EVENTURI INTAKE
-JB4 map 6

nice setup but I have to say that my ZCP M4 with the MPE sounds better than all those upgrades put together, way better and louder then you add the ZCP burbles to it and it sounds like a monster. I'll make a video soon...

sure bro, I don't mean to be little your upgrades in any way.

Before buying the MPE, I heard a lot of clips on YouTube and when I heard it in real lie, it was nothing like those videos, it's like roaring thunder when you rev it, it like amplifies those burbles and turns them into something very wild.

I will make a high quality video for you soon with a good microphone with the help of my friend to really capture the sound.

I put the rasp killing effect on the AA mid pipe, add AA mid pipe to any setup and it becomes decent IMO..

The MPE sounds not good at all, sorry! It is just loud, that's all.... and yes.... I had one. And please let's not talk about the quality on this 5K exhaust...lol

Idk..... I think AC SCHNITZER (made by Remus) or REMUS is one of the best sounding exhaust setup for the S55.

heard the AC Shnitzer, it sounds deeper but no where near as loud as the MPE. The Competition Pack does magic to the MPE though...those burbles are now louder because of the MPE and makes them sound really deep and loud. Plus when upshifting or downshifting it sounds like a pure sports car

AC SCHNITZER Race or Remus is louder than the MPE!

But it's not about loud sound. Meisterschaft etc. is also louder than your MPE, it's about the sound. Every N55 sound much better than our S55. You can make the S55 loud, but it's hard to make it sounds nice.

well I heard the AC Schnitzer full exhaust on a non ZCP M4 and it was not even close dude

Maybe the ZCP is what's making my MPE sound so great (at least to me)

There is a full AC SCHNITZER system and a full AC SCHNITZER export / race version.

As long you love it, that's most important to be honest.

I don't like it how it sounds at all, but everybody has different taste I guess.

THX, can you explain why you put the cats on the slip-on instead of using high flow downpipes?

With the cats placed so far back in the system I doubt they get hot enough to be even effective.

I think the main thing saving you from rasp is the catted downpipes. I'm curious to hear rasp reduction with the resonated downpipes.

Ding ding ding!

I've been saying this ever since I got my exhaust setup - AA midpipes are a must if you're looking for a better sound on this platform. The downpipes all sound the same (you'd be hard pressed to find someone that can tell the difference between an Akrapoviç downpipe and a VRSF downpipe) and the axle back is the only deviation that allows you to go for either crazy loud, aggressive, or a moderate increase in noise.

Incorrect sir! AA midpipes are saving him from rasp. The single midpipe may have horsepower gains (my butt Dyno didn't really notice, but they do claim some hp gain) but its main function is to kill that damned rasp.

read his post wrong. he has reonstaed dp with cat in the piping. not sure I agree with your statement. I have a friend with AA midpipe with remus and he still has rasp.
