First 6-Speed 10 second F8X M3/M4
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com The car is running a slew of our TPG parts , running a back end flash facilitated from Mike at Maximum PSI and Jordan at RK Tunes and utilizing a JB4 for boost control. It is still on a very conservative map with low ignition timing and MS109. If I decide to keep the car, I will be switching it to E85 and turning it up. I believe the car has a 10.5 or better in it with more timing an ethanol. For now I am extremely happy and excited to be apart of this milestone for the platform. Better videos coming shortly. Super impressive. How's the clutch holding up? That's ALOT more power through the stock clutch and we don't yet know the limits of the dual-plate clutch used in the f8x. Sounds like it's pretty strong

There is still a delay on boost coming back on between gears , most 6-speed guys know what I mean. We are working with Jordan to see if we can remedy that. I do believe the car has a 10.50 as is if that is resolved. Last year when I ran an 11.30 I was using a WOT Box which greatly helped the transient response between gears. However I am not using that this year. |
